Cherry Stone and Lavender Flowers Cushions

Originally from Switzerland, this cuchion durably releases heat absorbed from a microwave oven. It brings well-being and reassurance, soothes your little one's stomachaches, relieves cramps and stiff necks.
The perfect minor pain remedy, these thermal cushions have a place in every first aid cabinet. You can easily store heat in the cherry stones by putting the cushion on a warmer or, for more intense warmth, by heating in a microwave (600 watt power) for 3 minutes. The cushion can be used also as a cold compress for bumps, sprains, etc : chill in freezer for 2 hours. To wash the cushion, put it in a net for delicate linen and wash it 85°F(30°C). Let it dry.

Different shapes exist for cherry stone and lavender flowers cushions: long for stiff necks (Small Size Neck Cushion), little square for every part of the body (Multi-purpose Cushion).

Lavender oil is an essential oil obtained by distillation from the flower spikes of lavender angustifolia type.

Lavender oil, which has long been used in the production of perfume, can also be used in aromatherapy. The scent has a calming effect which may aid in relaxation and the reduction of anxiety.

It may also help to relieve pain from tension headache when breathed in as vapor or diluted and rubbed on the skin. When added to a vaporizer, lavender oil may aid in the treatment of cough and respiratory infection.
Lavender oil may also be used as a mosquito repellent when worn as perfume or when added to lotions or hair products.

According to advocates of alternative medicine, lavender oil can be used as first aid and to treat a variety of common ailments.
The diluted or undiluted oil may be used as an antiseptic and pain reliever to be applied to minor burns and insect bites and stings. Use only small quantities when applying directly to the skin. It is best applied on a wet cotton wool pad to the infected area.
For the treatment of sunburn and sunstroke, 10 drops of oil can be diluted in 25 mL of carrier oil. (Note: This is not an effective sunblock.) When added to chamomile, lavender oil may be effective on eczema.
To create a massage oil which may be effective in the relief of joint and muscle pain, 1 mL of oil can be added to 1 oz. of carrier oil and rubbed liberally on the affected area. To create a chest rub for relief of asthmatic and bronchitic spasm, 1 mL of lavender oil and 5 drops of chamomile oil can be added to 10 mL of carrier oil.
As a treatment for head lice, 5-10 drops of oil can be diluted in water to produce a hair rinse, while a few drops of undiluted oil can be added to a fine comb to eliminate nits.

However lavender should not be used within the first three months of pregnancy.

It has a beautifull panoramic view of lavender fields.

Moreover a horse rescue project and the extension of the agricultural business are under way, along with the restoration of new houses to offer new opportunities for the future to our guests.

The lavender belongs to the Lavandula kind, composed by approximately 40 species original from Mediterranean river basin and from Canaries to India.

Known and used from the man they give beyond 2.500 years with employs that they have been maintained almost the same in centuries in agricolture, medicine and cosmetic.

The numerous properties of this plant were notes not only to Romans and Greeks, but also in Egyptian age the lavender was employed in kitchen, medicine, for people well-being and health.

It has tonic properties, antiseptic and it is repulsive to bugs. The term “lavender” means “to wash” and it refers to Greek and Roman habit to perfume the room water and therms with alcoholic extract of these flowers.

This plant with easy cultivation now is diffused on the Italian territory from the Liguria to the Sicily, from the plain till the 100 meters of altitude.

Linea Golosa

Morbido, dolce, goloso, dal profumo inebriante e dal contenuto veramente interessante: è il miele, un alimento semplice, antico e straordinario.
