The church of San Martino in Greppo is located on the left side of the road from Lucca to Castelnuovo Garfagnana on the top of a hill surrounded by olive trees and lavender fields: a oasis of calm between of nature scent.The church is in Romanesque style, with white stones, builded in the 12th century from Consuls of Diecimo. It rapresented in the past an important assistant point hosting travellers.
Recently renoveted by the Church of Santa Maria Assunta of Diecimo with the contribution of Banca del Monte di Lucca, currently rapresents a beautiful place to visit in Tuscany.
Baccheggia Farm have revalued the historic site with a "Lavender Park" where every year in summer solstice day (20th june) there is "Lavender Festival", the first festival dedicated to Lavender and its infinity properties for wellbeing.
